Apni Party Announces Candidates For Kashmir Division Lok Sabha Seats
Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party has unveiled its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the Kashmir division. In a press conference held on Thursday, the party declared Zaffar Iqbal Manhas as its candidate for the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency and Mohammad Ashraf Mir for the Srinagar segment.
Mohammad Dilawar Mir, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee of the party, expressed confidence in the chosen candidates. He emphasized the party’s commitment to representing the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir on a national platform.
As a relatively new political entity in the region, the Apni Party aims to garner support and trust from the electorate. Mir conveyed optimism that the candidates nominated by the party would receive the affection and backing of the people, allowing them to effectively advocate for the interests of the region at the national level.
The announcement marks a significant step for the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, as it becomes the first political entity to nominate a candidate for the Srinagar seat.
