Satish Sharma Hails J&K Budget, Slams Opposition’s “Habitual Criticism”
JAMMU, FEB 06: Cabinet Minister and senior National Conference leader Satish Sharma on Friday hailed the Jammu and Kashmir budget as “very good,” emphasizing its provisions for border areas and pilgrimage infrastructure while hitting out at the opposition for its “habitual criticism.”
Outside the legislative assembly, Sharma listed key allocations, including funding for bulletproof ambulances and hospitals in border regions like Uri and Poonch.
“The people who didn’t say a word have to criticise… they have to oppose,” Sharma said, targeting the opposition without naming any party or leader.
He stated that crores of rupees have been allocated for the annual Amarnath Yatra and noted that buildings would be constructed in collaboration with the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
“Considering all the regions and all the religions, I think in the coming days, J&K will be the best,” the minister said. (KNS)
