J&K govt orders 10 ‘bagless days’ for classes 6-8 in govt schools
Srinagar, Oct 16 : The Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered the implementation of 10 bagless days for students of classes 6 to 8 in all government schools across the Union Territory, officials said on Friday.
The guidelines, it said, will help schools implement the activities in a systematic manner.
Chief Education Officers of all districts have been directed to circulate the guidelines to Higher Secondary, High and Middle schools where classes 6 to 8 are operational, and to ensure implementation of the programme “in letter and spirit” as envisioned under NEP 2020.
Districts have further been asked to submit a consolidated monthly report by the 5th of every month through email to the directorate. (KNS)
