Ex-Serviceman Dies After Throat Slit By Chinese Kite String In Jammu’s Bishnah

Jammu, Aug 31 : An ex-serviceman died after his throat was slit by a Chinese kite string (Gattu Dor) in Bishnah area of Jammu district on Monday.
Officials said that one person namely Lakhwinder Singh, son of Sharan Singh, resident of Diwan Garh, Samba, was brought dead to SDH Bishnah after sustaining a cut injury on his throat caused by Chinese nylon thread while he was riding his motorcycle bearing registration No. JK02BV-0541.
The incident reportedly occurred when he reached Jinder Khurd, Ring Road, Bishnah.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
