DC Kupwara, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse reviews Independence Day preparations at DPL Kupwara
KUPWARA, AUGUST 8: The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today visited District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara to take the first hand review of the arrangements made by the departments for celebration of the upcoming Independence Day. SSP Kupwara, Gulam Geelani; ADDC Kupwara, Mufti Fareed ud din; ADC Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad; CEO Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din Shah and other concerned officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner got the feedback from different departments regarding their preparations vis-a-vis security, parade, sanitation, seating arrangements, sound system, cultural variety programmes, parking etc.
The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon all the officers and departments to ensure all necessary arrangements well in place before the conduct of the National Event.
The DPL Kupwara will host the main celebration event of the Independence Day in the district as per the past practice.
