DC Kupwara Ayushi Sudan expresses deep sorrow over the College bus accident, visits injured persons at GMC Handwara
KUPWARA, APRIL 12: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan (IAS) today expressed her deep sorrow over the unfortunate road accident of College Bus that occurred at Vodhpora Handwara in early morning Saturday and resulted in the death of one student and injury to several others.
Soon after the incident, the Deputy Commissioner rushed to the GMC Handwara where injured persons are undergoing treatment. She monitored the situation and directed the hospital authorities to ensure proper treatment and care of the injured for their speedy recovery.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed her deep sorrow over the incident and expressed condolences with the bereaved family who lost their daughter in the unfortunate accident.
Talking to media persons, the DC said that an investigation in the matter is going on and FIR has been registered.(Kupwara Times)
