BJP legislators violate preamble of constitution: Karra
Srinagar, Nov 6: Congress legislator, Tariq Hameed Karra Wednesday strongly condemned the behavior of BJP members in the legislative assembly, labeling their actions as unparliamentary and unacceptable.
The controversy erupted after a resolution on the restoration of Article 370 was passed by a majority vote, prompting BJP members to create ruckus in the assembly.
Karra criticized the BJP members for behaving “like animals,” climbing on tables and using slogans that violate the preamble of the Indian constitution.
He said that such behavior has no place in a democratic setup and undermines the dignity of the legislative assembly. [KNT]
