Kupwara Treasury Crisis: MLA Sajad Lone Urges CM to Address Chronic Financial Woes

Srinagar December  08 : Sajad Lone, an elected MLA, has highlighted on X (formerly Twitter) the severe financial crisis faced by the treasury in District Kupwara, describing it as a chronic issue compared to other districts. He expressed deep concern over the suffering caused to contractors, laborers, and traders due to unpaid bills in the supply chain system.

According to Kupwara Times, he pointed out the governance challenges stemming from “address-less government” and “parallel power centers.” As an MLA, he appealed to the Chief Minister and the concerned minister to urgently allocate funds to alleviate the crisis and address the pressing financial needs of those affected.
