IGP Kashmir Sujit Kumar reviews Security, Law and Order, Crime Scenario In Kupwara
KUPWARA, SEPT 20: Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Sujit Kumar-IPS, today visited District Kupwara and reviewed the prevailing security situation, counter-terrorism grid, law & order preparedness, crime scenario and overall operational readiness of the district. IGP Kashmir was accompanied by DIG North Kashmir Range, Dr Vinod Kumar-IPS.
During visit, SSP Kupwara Tahir Gilani, briefed the IGP on the prevailing security scenario, ongoing counter-terrorism operations, intelligence inputs, area domination measures, security of vulnerable locations, law & order preparedness and the crime situation in the district.
IGP Kashmir also visited T.O.B Dardpora and interacted with SOG personnel, taking stock of their operational preparedness and field deployment.
He appreciated the commitment, dedication and professionalism of the personnel deployed in challenging operational areas and exhorted them to maintain the highest standards of alertness, coordination and preparedness.
