Handwara Police organizes Drug Awareness Rally in Qalamabad
Handwara: In a steadfast commitment to combat drug abuse and promote a drug free society, Handwara police organized drug awareness rally under Civic Action programme at Tehsil Qalamabad which started from Darul uloom sharhama lach and after passing through main market of Qalamabad and culminated at Qalamabad Chowk
The rally was led by SHO PS Qalamabad InspectorAshraf bonyari, accompanied by Teaching faculty of GHSSQalamabad , Police jawans of P/S Qalamabad and students of Darul uloom sharhama lach and GHSS Qalamabad.
This initiative aimed to educate the public about the perils of drug addiction and galvanize community efforts against this growing menace.
During the rally, students carried banners and placards promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event underscored the collective commitment of the community to fight against the menace of drug abuse.
SHO Qalamabad Inspector mohd Ashraf mir gave an elaborated view about the menace of drugs, its sources, causes, consequences, role of every member of society. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized on the grave impact of the drug abuse on youth and society and urged all to come together to combat this menace and protect our future generations.
He requested parents teachers and community members to remain vigilant and supportive, guiding the youth towards a healthy and positive lifestyle. The event concluded with vote of thanks to all at Qalamabad chowk.
