Full Dress Rehearsal for Republic Day Parade held at DPL Kupwara
KUPWARA, 24 Jan: The full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day Parade 2025 was successfully conducted today at DPL Parade Ground, Kupwara, in a patriotic atmosphere. The event witnessed Addl DC Kupwara, Shri Rouf Rehman, unfurling the national flag, inspecting the parade, and taking the salute at the impressive march past.
The event was attended by the Addl. SP Kupwara GM Bhat-JKPS, DySP DAR Syed Mujahid-ul-Haq-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Rafee Rather-JKPS, along with other senior officers from Kupwara Police and the Civil Administration.
The parade, which was commanded by Insp. Shafaat Ahmad, featured an excellent march past by various contingents. These included,District Police Kupwara(Male, Female, and SPO contingents),CRPF (Two contingents),IR 4th Battalion,Forest Protection Force,VHG Contingent,Seven contingents of students from various educational institutions across the district.
The function concluded with vibrant and colorful cultural programs, presented by talented artists and students from different educational institutions, adding charm and spirit to the occasion.
