DC Kupwara takes comprehensive stock of developmental projects in Handwara sub division
KUPWARA, JULY 23:
In a concerted effort to accelerate developmental progress and ensure timely execution of infrastructure projects, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today undertook an extensive tour of Handwara sub division to review various ongoing developmental works.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the ongoing construction of High School Building Batpora Magam and construction of additional accommodation for HSS Magam and directed the concerned engineers to speed up the pace of work and ensure completion of the projects within the stipulated timeframe. She also inspected the ongoing development of Handwara-Magam road.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Javid Naseem Masoodi, CPO, Tehsildar Handwara and Executive Engineers of R&B, PMGSY accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of the Jaggerpora Water Supply Scheme and Kawari WSS and enquired from the concerned engineers about the status of the scheme. She directed them to ensure the completion of the projects to facilitate the people of these areas with clean drinking water supply.
Later, the DC chaired a meeting with concerned officers during which a threadbare discussion were held to ensure timely completion of the developmental projects in the Handwara sub division.
During the tour, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with large number of people who apprised her about their day to day developmental issues and she assured for timebound redressal of their genuine issues.
