Ceasefire Violation Along LoC: Pakistan Targets Multiple Sectors

Srinagar, May 4: In the night between May 3 and 4, Pakistani Army posts opened unprovoked small arms fire across the Line of Control (LoC), targeting multiple sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, army Spokesperson said.

The affected areas include Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor.

According to a Defence spokesperson in Srinagar, the Indian Army responded promptly and in a proportionate manner to the ceasefire violation.(KNS)
