8-Year-Old Boy Dies in Kunzer, Teen Confesses to Involvement

Baramulla, June 17 : An 8-year-old boy from Baandpora Lalpora, Kunzer, tragically died after being found unconscious in a field near his home on June 12. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away at JVC Hospital in Srinagar during the early hours of June 17.

According to a statement from the Baramulla Police Media Cell, a case was registered at Kunzer Police Station, and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was called in to assist with the investigation.

During the probe, a 14-year-old boy confessed to his involvement in the incident.

He was mercilessly killed, tortured and assaulted by someone. His mouth has been filled with soil only to stop him crying. We appeal to the police to investigate this heinous murder. And bring us justice” says a relative of the 10 year old boy with tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile police station Kunzer Tangmarg has filed an FIR against this murder and assured to nab the murders soon.(KNS )
