Pulwama, Sep 6: In a first after three decades a Kashmiri Pandit woman, Daisy Raina is contesting the Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls from Rajpora Assembly Segment in South Kashmir’s Pulwama.

Fielded by the Republican Party of India (Athawale), Raina, a former sarpanch from Frisal Pulwama, is one of nine women candidates in the fray.
