Extreme Weather Alert: Heavy Snowfall Expected In Middle And Higher Reaches From March 1st To 3rd

A significant weather system is set to bring heavy to very heavy snowfall across several middle and higher altitude regions from March 1st to 3rd, accompanied by the possibility of moderate rain/snow in most areas and thunder/lightning/hailstorms in some places.

 

Forecast Overview:

February 26th-27th: Expect light rain/snow at scattered locations overnight, persisting into the forenoon of the 27th.

February 28th:Conditions will be partly cloudy with light snowfall likely in isolated higher altitude regions.

February 29th: Anticipate partly to generally cloudy skies with the chance of light rain/snow in scattered areas.

 

March 1st-3rd: The most significant weather event will occur during this period, with moderate rain/snow expected in many areas and heavy to very heavy rain/snow forecasted for middle and higher altitude regions. Thunder, lightning, hailstorms, and gusty winds may also accompany the weather system on March 1st and 2nd.
