District Admin Kupwara Provides Immediate Relief to Fire-effected families in Punzwa Villgam
Kupwara, September 23: District Administration Kupwara provided immediate relief to families affected in unfortunate fire incident in Punzwa Villgam causing damage to four residential houses last night.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Shrikant Balasahib Suse, a team led by Tehsildar Villgam, Dr. Kasir Bashir, visited the spot and distributed interim monetary relief among five affected families along with kitchen sets, tarpaulins, blankets, and one month’s advance ration.
Expressing sympathy with the fire victims the Deputy Commissioer assured full support from the administration, and directed assessment of property loss for sanction of relief under SDRF norms on immediate basis.
He also appealed to the general public to observe safety precautions in order to avoid fire incidents.
