CMO Kupwara Conducts Surprise Night Visit to PHC Drugmulla
Kupwara, Oct 8: Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Dr. Masrat Iqbal Wani, paid a surprise night visit to Primary Health Centre Drugmulla on Tuesday night to assess the functioning of the hospital during night hours.
During the inspection, Dr. Wani checked staff attendance, reviewed the availability of essential medicines, and took on-ground feedback from the medical and paramedical staff regarding patient care and hospital facilities.
He emphasized the importance of punctuality, accountability, and dedication among health workers, particularly during night shifts, to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services to the public.
“Our focus is to ensure that every patient visiting our health institutions at any hour receives timely and quality care. Night inspections are part of our commitment to strengthen transparency, discipline, and service delivery in the health sector,” said Dr. Masrat Iqbal Wani, CMO Kupwara.
Dr. Wani appreciated the staff present on duty and directed necessary measures for improving hospital functioning where required. He reiterated that such surprise visits will continue to maintain high standards of healthcare across the district.
