Vehicle with illicit timber seized in Langate
Handwara, Feb 01: Forest Officials of Forest Division Langate in north Kashmir’s Handwara town on Monday seized a vehicle with illicit timber at Shanoo village of Langate.
Reports Reaching to Kashmir News Service said a on the basic of reliable information a naka was setup in the area during which a vehicle (JK09 2724) with illicit timber has been seized and taken to headquarters Langate.
An official while confirming the seizure of illicit timber said 16 logs measuring 45cfts has been seized and investigation has been setup.
Range officer Mawer Mohammad Shafi told KNS they are verifying where from the illicit timber was brought. (KNS)
