Police detain duo for carrying petrol bottles in Kupwara election rally
Kupwara, Dec 15: Police detained two youth for carrying petrol bottles during a rally of PAGD candidate here in frontier district Kupwara.
Sources said that Peoples’ Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) candidate was conducting a DDC election rally in Kupwara when police spotted two youth with petrol bottles. Both were detained for questioning.
Police sources identified these youth as 16 year old Faisal Ahmed Mir son of Ghulam Rasool and 23 year old Faisal Mir son of Abdul Gafar both residents of Harden Sewar.
They said these youth raised slogans against Peoples’ Alliance for Gupkar Declaration.
SSP Kupwara Shri Ram Ambedkar told KNT that detained youth are being questioned. (KNT)
