Police arrests two drug peddler, recovered contraband substance in Kralpora
Kupwara, Jan 01: Kralpora Police arrested two persons involved in peddling of drugs in the district.
Police in a statement issued to Kupwara Times said that ‘acting on a specific information, that two drug peddlers were on way to Waserkut Guzriyal Kralpora area of this frontier district Kupwara, a special naka was established at Guzriyal to intercept them.
During the course of naka checking, police team headed by SHO Kralpora, Aijaz Ahmad apprehended two notorious drug peddlers Reyaz Ahmad Ganie S/o Khazir Mohd R/o Guzriyal and Shahid Ahmad Malik S/o Ab Gani Malik R/o Reshigun Kupwara along with contraband substance in their possession.
Police have registered FIR number 02/2023 under sections 8/20 NDPS Act and investigation taken up. (Kupwara Times)
