Srinagar, May 11: The residents of Pattan areas on Saturday expressed resentment against the traffic department for failing to ensure passenger vehicles to them at designated places.
Inhabitants of various places including Nehlapora, Sarivarpora, Shooch, Chukkar and others told KNS that the passenger vehicles were not being allowed through their raod from some time now, thus causing immense hardships to them.
“We are being forced to walk few kilometers by foot to caught the bus,” the residents said, adding that the traffic department instead of ensuring better facilities are leaving the commuters to local populace to lurch at large.
They urged the authorities to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances. (KNS)
