Patients suffer as doctors in DH Handwara being sent to other hospitals on rotational basis

Srinagar, May 09 : In violation of the norms, the doctors in Handwara District Hospital are being allegedly sent to other hospitals to tackle the rush of patients, thus leaving the patients visiting DH Handwara to lurch at large.

Attendants of patients as well as the locals from Handwara said that patients there are facing immense hardships in absence of gynecologists as the doctors deputed to the hospital are being sent to other hospitals on rotational basis.

They said that the doctors deputed in the DH Handwara should not be sent to other places on rotational basis so that the patients could heave a sigh of relief.

The locals as well as attendants as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent demanded higher ups of health department to intervene.

“We are being forced to visit private clinics as the gynecologists deputed in the hospital are being sent to other places on rotational basis,” they said. (KNS)
