Omar Abdullah questions Centre over mock drills, Says Vaccine received approvals four days ago
Srinagar, Jan 08: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah asked why mock drills were still being performed since vaccines were granted emergency approval more than four days ago.
National Conference (NC) Vice-President Abdullah said several other countries began administering the first doses within hours of obtaining emergency approval. He questioned what the holdup was now.
Omar said, “Why are we still doing mock drills?” on Twitter’s micro-blogging platform. More than 4 days ago, the vaccines were granted emergency approval. Within hours of granting emergency approval, several other countries began administering the first doses. Now, what’s the hold-up?
127 new positive cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), across Jammu and Kashmir, were registered on Friday, increasing the total number of positive cases to 122303 in Jammu and Kashmir. (PTK)
