National Unity Day Celebrated By Bandipora Police

Bandipora, 31 Oct: On the Eve of Rashtriya Ekta Divas to commemorate the Birth anniversary of Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel , Bandipora police held Pledge ceremony at DPL Bandipora.

SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik (IPS) took salute on the march past and administered oath to jawans and officers to uphold unity and integrity of the Nation. www.kupwaratimes.org

Similar functions were organised at all police stations and police posts of the district were jawans were administered pledge of peace, humanity and to promote unity among people.

While speaking at the occasion, SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik spoke on the importance of National Unity Day and exhorted upon the jawans and officers to contribute positively to the society in eradication of various social evils and maintain communal harmony.The purpose of organizing this event is to maintain communal harmony, integration and sense of belongingness among the different sections of the society.
