Municipal Council Kupwara failed to provide information Under RTI within time period
Delay itself indicates that there is something Fishy in the Municipal Council Kupwara : RTI applicant
Kupwara, OCT 14 : Although as per Right to Information RTI guidelines, the responded must reply within a one month period of submission of application under RTI Act 2005 but it seemed that indifferent approach of Executive Officer MC Kupwara towards RTI Act has made it to put the RTI plea on the back burner.
RTI applicant filed an RTI Plea on 25-08-2018 and 19- 09-2020 to EO MC Kupwara to seek information about Expenditure, IAY,Building Permission, Kaschari,Employee details Etc.
“But the EO Municipal Council Kupwara has failed to provide information within a time period, ” said the RTI applicant, adding, “The delay itself indicates that there is something fishy in the Municipal Council Kupwara.
