A Day out with Company Commander at Nowgam
Kupwara March 01: With an ultimate aim of ensuring usherance of peace in the valley a humble endeavour to reach out to the Awaam, through the innocent and unbiased mind of kids, a fun and engaging event Children Bonanza was organised in the villages of Reshwari and Potwari by the Naugam Brigade.
The event involved a display of various surveillance and communication equipment for the children of Mawar followed by several joyous competitions and quiz competition, to spark the tender hearts sans fear of being amongst the men in uniform. It witnessed the soulful participation of young minds and interaction by the Company Commander with the kids displaying means to achieve the end that every soldier wants, that is, lasting peace in this otherwise Paradise on Earth. epaper.kupwaratimes.org
The event witnessed overwhelming footfall of children from Reshwari potwari villages. The ESMs graced the occasion and distributed prizes to the winners of the fun games.
