Srinagar, Mar 21: Former Member of Legislative Council (MLC), Khursheed Aalam has resigned from Mehbooba Mufti-led Peoples Democratic Party here on Sunday.

A close aide of Alam confirmed the latter’s decision of calling quits from the party to Global News Service (GNS).

“He (Khursheed Alam) had over the time developed some serious differences with the party leadership for its way to deal on several fronts including that on party’s internal and external issues”, he said.
