28 shops gutted in Midnight Blaze in Baba Reshi

Tangmarg, April 04: Atleast twenty Eight shops were gutted in Midnight blaze in Baba Reshi area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

An offcial told GNS that during midnight fire which erupted in the BabarReshi Market engulfed atleast twenty eight shops.

Three shops were saved due to efforts of Police and Locals.

Meanwhile locals told GNS that they acknowledged the prompt response and hectic efforts of Baramulla police. They were however peeved at the tardiness of the F&ES deptt and demanded setting up of local station fire protection of the shrine.

Meanwhile a police officer told GNS that police appreciated role of locals, especially management of the shrine for helping in dousing off the fire. Also police has initiated the investigation about the cause fire in this incident.(GNS)
