Srinagar January 08: Senior Political Leader and Former Law maker from Ganderbal constituency Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has demanded seperate mechanical division for Ganderbal and Bandipora headquarter at Ganderbal.
In a statement issued here Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Saturday said expressed his deep anguish over the decision to keep Ganderbal all mechanical engineering works in hospitals of district Ganderbal with mechanical engineering division Handwara. He said this is injustice with the people of Ganderbal. He urged Lt Governor Manoj Sinha personal intervention into this matter and demanded that either make seperate mechanical engineering hospitals division for Ganderbal and Bandipora district with headquarters at Ganderbal or keep Ganderbal with mechanical engineering division Srinagar.
Mr Jabbar has expressed his gratitude and hailed the decision of the Lieutenant Governor’s administration for making Kangan a seperate division and Gund and Safapora as subdivision in addition to Kangan , Lar and Ganderbal. (KNS)
