Influx of Covid positive patients: 12 Unani officials relieved asked to report at Covid Care Centre Ganderbal

Ganderbal, July 19: In wake of rising Coronavirus cases, authorities have now started availing the services of Unani doctors as well.

Chairman District Disaster Management Authority Ganderbal has relieved 15 officials from Government Unani Medical College and Hospital Nawabagh Ganderbal and directed them to report to Block Medical Officer Ganderbal for further duties at Covid Care Centre Hatbora Ganderbal with immediate effect.

Sources told news agency KNT that among these 12 officials, 7 are Consultants, 3 are Medical Officers and 2 Pharmacists.

Chairman District Disaster Management Authority Ganderbal said that keeping in view of the influx of Covid-19 positive patients in the district, the JNV Hatbora Ganderbal has started functioning as Covid Care Centre and due to dearth of staff, the 12 officials were directed to report to Block Medical Officer Ganderbal for further duties at Covid Care Centre Hatbora Ganderbal with immediate effect.
