Health scheme PM Modi’s love for People of J&K: BJP
Srinagar, Dec 29: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur today said with the launch of Ayushman Bharat-Sehat Scheme, every single resident of the J&K UT will get quality health care in any of the government of private hospitals he or she wishes across the country while as in J&K at least 21 lakh families will be covered under the scheme mean for one and all.
In a statement issued here, Thakur said the health scheme launched by the Prime Minister Narendera Modi will help the poorest of the poor to get treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in any of the hospitals across J&K and if need arises across the country as well. He said that time is not far when Poorest of the Poor will get quality health care at their door steps.
Thakur said that all the residents poor and rich will be covered under the scheme while more than 23000 hospitals are empaneled under the scheme across the country. “There is no cap on family size or age. Free and cashless treatment in any public and private empaneled hospital in the country will be available for the patients,” he said, adding that this was a historic health scheme J&K has witnessed first time in the past 70 years and the credit for this goes to PM Narendera Modi as it was due to his love for the J&K and its people such a historic scheme was launched.
The BJP spokesman said that under the Ayushman Bharat Sehat scheme, once the patient would be discharged from the hospital, free treatment, medicine and tests will be done for the beneficiary for 15 days.
“Arogya Mitra will seek feedback from the beneficiary,” he said, and expressed gratitude to PM Modi for launching such a “wonderful health initiative” that is set to change the lives of J&K’s ailing lot.
He said BJP leaders and workers will create mass awareness about the scheme and its benefits so that every ailing gets his/her due share of timely and quality treatment without spending a single penny. (PTK)
