Handwara Police in collaboration with Youth Civil Society Kashmir organised Drug De-Addiction Rally
Handwara March 23: To eradicate the menace of drugs from the society and to make aware the general public about the ill effects, causes and consequences of illegal use of drugs, Handwara Police in collaboration with youth Civil Siciety Kashmir today organised a drug
de-addiction rally.
The participants took out a rally holding banners and placards against the sale and use of illicit drugs which started from Police Station Handwara and culminated at New Bus Stand passing through town Handwara.
The rally was led by SHO PS Handwara Shri Parvaiz Ahmad besides officers and officials of Police Station Handwara and members of Youth Civil Society Kashmir also participated the rally.
The participants of the rally were carrying placards of different slogans about the causes and consequences of illegal use of drugs. Announcement via loudspeakers was also made to make aware the general public about the dangers posed by drug addiction to youth in their early age.
The main aim of the rally was to aware the public of Handwara especially the young generation about the ill effects of drugs and the role of citizens in eradicating this menace from the society.
The leading organizers if the rally appealed the general public to prove yourself as responsible citizens by cooperating police in sharing all information related to illegal use and trade of drugs.
