Felicitation of Meritorious Students at AGS Naugam
Kupwara March 6: Naugam brigade organized a celebratory event at Army Goodwill School Naugam north Kashmiris Kupwara district to felicitate the meritorious students, who recently excelled at state board examinations. Education lays the foundation of any progressive society and its development and our children are the flag bearers of this change. In a delicate place like Jammu and Kashmir, which has seen decades of wars and militancy, it is important that education proliferates to every nook and corner of the UT and its civil society.
Usman Bashir S/o Bashir Ahmed Residence of Handwara who secure 93.2% of Mark’s, Amir Maqbool Khan s/o Mohd Maqbool Village Walrama 92.4% Mark’s, Adnan Javed Khan SO Javed Ahmad village kutlari 91.6% of Mark’s, Zaheer Ahmed Khan s/o Alfidin Khan village Pothwari who secure 91.4% of marks, Sheikh Hashir Javed s/o Javed Ahmed village Lawoosa, Mark’s 91.2% and Tawfeeq Ahmad Wani s/o Bashir Ahmed Wani vill Khudi 90%marks on secondary school examination was facilitated in the ceremony.
The event was chaired by high ranking military officers. It was indeed a matter of great pride for the students to receive an award from such senior military officers, who also motivated the award winners to continue their Studies with the same Passion.
Such events prove that Indian Army is committed to the education of the youth of Kashmir and will always stand hand in hand with the civil society and help it blossom under the dawn of education.
