KUPWARA, JANUARY 25: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements being put in place for smooth celebration of Urs-e-Hazrat-e-Ziti-Shah-Wali (RA) on January 27 & 28 at Muqam-i-Shah Wali Drugmulla.
The officers were directed to place all arrangements beforehand so that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
Engineers of Jal Shakti & PDD were directed to provide uninterrupted water and power supply during the Urs period. While as, R&B engineer was directed to ensure proper maintenance of roads leading to the shrine.
AD Food was directed to keep adequate quantity of ration available at food stores of the area.
BMO Kupwara was directed to depute Medical team along with necessary medicare equipment during the Urs. Likewise, DFO Kehmil was asked to ensure availability of firewood at the venue for the said purpose.
Police department was asked to make adequate security arrangements in the area.
