Srinagar, May 04 : District Forest Officer (DFO) Kamraj, Abid Nazir Saturday raided a saw mill in Badi Bera Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district and seized 100 ft illicit timber there.
According to KNS correspondent, a team headed by DFO Kamraj raided a saw mill belonging to Muhammad Yousuf resident of Lalpora Lolab following which the owner of the saw mill fled from the spot.
The illicit timber there was seized. DFO Kamraj said that they had inputs that the person was running a saw mill illegally here and following which the location was raided and 100 ft of illicit timber was also seized. (KNS)
