DC Kupwara hands over appointment orders to 110 MTS appointees
KUPWARA, OCT 30: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray today handed over appointment orders to 110 educated youth of Kupwara district who were recruited as Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) by J&K Services Selection Board, here at an impressive function held in the lawns of D.C Office Kupwara.
Vice Chairperson, District Development Council, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir; ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; ACD Kupwara, Hilal Ahmad Mir and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
Addressing the newly appointees, Deputy Commissioner welcomed and congratulated them for being selected in various Government departments. He said the District Administration made efforts on war footing basis to complete the verification and other formalities of the appointees within less than 6 days which is a history, as otherwise it used to take months together to complete the process by the candidates.
He said that the youth is the valuable treasure of the nation and the present Government is committed to channelize its potential and talent with all facilitation. He said Kupwara district is the knowledge hub not only in the UT of J&K but also in whole country and urged the youth to put all their efforts in a positive way and enlighten the name of the district.
The Vice Chairperson in his address also congratulated the new appointees and said it was the effort of the Deputy Commissioner who is working tirelessly for the empowerment of youth of the district, besides, overall development. He said it is a dream of Prime Minister, Narender Modi to make the J&K a model UT.
ADC Kupwara also spoke on the occasion and advised the new appointees to work with utmost honesty and dedication for the welfare of the society.
