Dardpora Lolab residents protest in Srinagar, rue lack of basic facilities
SRINAGAR, OCT 09:Residents of Dardpora Lolab of district Kupwara on Friday staged protest in Srinagar and rued lack of basic facilities in the area.
Residents while protesting at Press Colony Srinagar said that there are no basic facilities in our area and authorities are watching it as mute spectators.
They said that there is no road connectivity in our area, besides that there is need of PHC and Playground in the area.
They said that due to unavailability of road connectivity, we are facing lot of problems and even for minor issues we have to visit district and sub district hospitals.
They said that there is need of playground so that our children can play and remain away from drug addiction.
They added that we have brought this issue in notice of concerned authorities several times but their repeated promises proved hoax on ground.
They requested Lt Governor and other higher officials to look into the matter and take immediate steps for the a redressed of our issues. (PTK)
