Covid-19 Vaccination Drive for Frontline Workers of Handwara Police was carried out at DPL Handwara
Handwara, Feb 05: Today an extensive Covid Vaccination drive for frontline workers of Handwara Police was carried out at District Police Lines Handwara. A camp was organised today for vaccinating the Handwara Police personnel who have been working actively for containing this Pandemic in collaboration with Health Department.
The Police officials led by Superintendent of Police Handwara Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS received their first shot of Covid Vaccine today as a part of immunisation programme againt this Pandemic.
SP Handwara advised all the officials to shed any inhibitions and avail this opportunity of administering the vaccine for immunising the frontline workers. He further added that vaccination drive will be a key factor in strengthening our defense against this disease and will facilitate resumptiom of our daily life schedules.
He said that the successful administration of this vaccine will recognize the emergence of country’s leadership on global front in health sector.
He appreciated all those Police officials who are contributing with their efforts against covid Pandemic. He also thanked the Health officials for their assistance in administering the vaccine doses to Police Officials.
Pertinent to mention that Handwara Police has been playing a key role in augmenting the efforts made by authorities for containing this Pandemic.
