COVID-19: 24 mote test positive in J&K, tally rises to 725
Srinagar, May 04 : The number of COVID-19 cases continued to rise in Jammu and Kashmir as 24 people tested positive for the novel Coronavirus that takes the total tally to 725 in the J&K.
Officials said 20 cases were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab at SKIMS and four others at Covid-19 testing lab at Chest Disease Hospital Dalgate Srinagar.
Officials said that among the 24 new cases, twelve are from Baramulla, four from Budgam and two each from Srinagar, Shopian, Bandipora and one each from Pulwama and Poonch district.
With these fresh cases, the total number of cases has risen to 725 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bandipora has 130 positive cases followed by Srinagar with 108 cases, Anantnag 106, Baramulla 93, Shopian 82, Kupwara 66, Budgam 30, Ganderbal 14 (no active case), 11 Kulgam, Pulwama 9 (5 active). (PTK)
