Century old man cast vote in Nowgam
Handwara: Amid cold 105 year old man cast his vote in Nowgam village of Mawer area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district during 4th phase of DDC polls.
Aalam Din Kalas a resident of Nowgam on Monday morning cast his vote with the help of his daughter in law.
He said that he cast his vote only for the development of the area.
Such heartwarming stories reassure People’s belief in democracy.
Notably, the polling was held at two Territorial seats in Kupwara district while 44.35% voting was recorded.
