Bandipora, May 04: Bandipora Police continuing its public reach out programme organised an interactive meeting for the elected Sarpanchs & Panchs in Sumbal.The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipora, Sh Rahul Malik- IPS , accompanied by ASP Bandipora, SDPO Sumbal & Dysp Hajin.
Sarpanchs of Hajin and Sumbal with MC chairman participated. On this occassion many participants highlighted several issues.The aim of the interaction between the elected representatives & Police was to seek cooperation in redressal of their genuine issues.Police also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area , besides eradicating various social evils especially drug menace and gambling. SSP Bandipora assured them full cooperation by working shoulder to shoulder with them. He also praised the role and contribution of local public representatives in resloving day to day public issues and delivery of justice.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the Bandipora Police for organising this interactive meeting.
