ADDC Kupwara reviews progress of vaccination, development in Karnah sub division
KUPWARA: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara today convened a meeting of concerned officers, here at Mini Secretariat Tangdhar to review the progress of COVID-19 vaccination and Developmental activities of border sub division Karnah.
It was informed in the meeting that 70% target population of 45 year above have been vaccinated in Karnah. 52% population from 18-44 year have also been vaccinated so far in the border sub division.
The meeting was further informed that
sufficient medicine and oxygen cylinders are available in SDH Tangdar and other health centres to tackle any contingencies.
Reviewing the development scenario, it was informed that 80.74% of labour budget in Block Tangdhar and 64% in Block Teethwal have been achieved under MGNREGA.
It was also informed that all works under 14th FC are under execution in the sub division.
Regarding R&B sector, macdamization of 8 kms have been carried out against a target of 10kms.
The ADDC directed the engineers of Jal Shakti Department to provide water connections to all 39 schools and 31 Anganwadi Centres lacking such facility by 15th of August. He directed the ZEO to start community classes immediately in areas lacking internet connectivity.
