77 BSF organizes free Medical at Nowgam
Handwara, February 16: Border Security force (BSF) 77 Battalion on Tuesday organized a free Medical camp at Nowgam Mawer, were more than 500 patient were checked by different Army and civil doctors including Medical officer Dr Shabir, General Physician, Gynecologist, Dental,Eye Specialist of medical block Langate.
According to reports, on the free Medical camp Civil doctors of Sub district Hospital Langate and BSF doctors checked the patient while properly following the covid19 protocols.
Free medicines were given to the patients in the event and they thanked BSF for organising a free Medical camp in the area.
A patient of the area said that this is far flung area and the health facilities are very less here and there is a need of such free Medical camps as the people living in the area are poor and can’t go to private hospitals for checkups.
Commandant 77 Battalion BSF Desh Raj said that we got the overwhelming response in the medical camp and will organize such camps in the area to provide basic facilitiy to the local people.
